YARBROUGH, JIMMY RANDALL SR. -Jimmy Randall Yarbrough, Sr., born in Cascilla, Mississippi on October 29, 1950, died July 14, 2003 in his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Burton Yarbrough and Doris Yarbrough Garcia, along with his baby sister, Donna (Vonda) Yarbrough LeBoeuf. He is survived by his Second Father, Anthony G. Garcia of Texas City; wife, Kathy Hoya Yarbrough of Texas City; three sons, and a daughter; Jimmy Randall Yarbrough, Jr. (Randy) and wife, Summer of Port Aransas; Troy Burton Yarbrough and wife, Donna of Santa Fe; Henry (Bubba) Hoya and wife, Gina of Broaddus, and Sherri Morse and husband, Rusty of Texas City. He is leaving behind two sisters and two brothers; Sandra Williams and husband, Charles Ray of Tutwiler, Mississippi; Theresa Diane Jennings and husband, Billy of Texas City; Herbert Tyrone Yarbrough of Texas City, and Roger Yarbrough, Sr. and wife, Beckie of Texas City. The list also includes ten grandchildren; Jimmy Yarbrough III (14), Brian Yarbrough (11), Chase Yarbrough (2), Aiden Yarbrough (1), Lance Yarbrough (4 weeks), Robert Hoya, Jr. (15), Trey Hoya (2), Lindsey Hoya (17), Samantha Hoya (11), and Katy Hoya (7). He will also be missed by Terry Johnson-Yarbrough (former wife of twenty-five years and mother of Randy and Troy), his many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and many, many, friends. YBARRA, DORSALIO "CHALO" - Houston - Drosalio "Chalo" Ybarra, 65, passed away Monday, August 4, 200,3 at his residence in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2003, in the Memorial Room of Broadway Funeral Home, Galveston. Burial will follow services Monday at Calvary Cemetery, Galveston. A prayer vigil will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2003, also in the Memorial Room of Broadway Funeral Home. Mr. Ybarra's family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday evening after 5 p.m.Chalo was born on Galveston Island September 4, 1937. As a merchant seaman visiting different parts of the world, he traveled to many seaports. From 1959, until such time that he retired in 1996, Chalo was a member in good standing with the National Maritime Union. He always enjoyed good times and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Chalo is preceded in death by his parents, Sixto and Maximina Ybarra, two of his brothers, Juan and Robert Ybarra and also one of his sisters, Nica Garcia. He leaves behind his surviving family, daughter, Joann Ramirez of Houston, Texas; sisters, Janie Zepeda, twin sister, Mary Ybarra and Olivia Villanueva, all of La Marque, Texas; and his brothers, Thomas B. Ybarra of Houston, Texas and Ruben Ybarra and Roy Ybarra, both of Texas City, Texas. Sharing in his loss, also in his granddaughter, Victoria Ramirez, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, a host of other relatives and many friends.
